Although I have some doubts about our direction and my guidance with this course this semester, it now feel as if things are really coming together. Last Wednesday's class about collaborative negotiation as a style as covered by Getting to Yes worked well. Only at this point of the semester are we beginning to "uncover the complexity" of this topic. In a way we are now looking at worse-case scenarios situations and seeing them in a new light. I am very excited about what next week will bring. In addition, I am increasingly finding myself learning from the students. New ideas, insights and overall perspective. This makes the whole enterprise different - give and take learning, the best reason to go to school.
